The inaugural 2023 vintage benefited from normal rainfall, much of it before bud break, followed by mild temperatures and only a few heat spikes in summer and early fall.

Selected from the best barrels across Spring Mountain District, Howell Mountain, and Mount Veeder, Aaeternum brings three distinct mountain expressions together in one 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Estate fruit from all six distinct blocks of the Spring Mountain property gives this first vintage its deep ruby hue and vibrant violet rim.

The fruit was harvested by hand and fermented with care before aging in new French oak, with cedar, sandalwood, and cocoa powder woven into the dark-fruit character.

Across the valley from the estate, Howell Mountain’s volcanic soils, iron-rich red clay, southern exposure, and limited marine influence shape a distinct expression of Cabernet Sauvignon.

The vintage shows a dark garnet hue with an inky black-red core and concentrated fruit. New French oak brings subtle vanilla, toast, and baking spice.

Like Spring Mountain, Mount Veeder lies in the Mayacamas range. Its largely ancient seabed soils contribute mineral character and structured earthy tones to the fruit.

This crimson-hued vintage shows black currant, dried black cherry, and mulberry. Aging in new French oak highlights the savory fruit.

Brilliant medium-dark plum in color, this Howell Mountain Cabernet Franc has an expressive bouquet of ripe blackberries, cedar incense, cinnamon bark, and delicate dried lavender.

Subtle French oak adds cigar-box and warm-spice notes. Balanced acidity gives the purple fruit lift and structure, while gentle warmth and supple tannins carry through the long finish.

Fruit from a historic Yountville vineyard produces a bright pale-yellow wine with notes of vanilla, baking spice, tropical fruit, savory sage, anise, and ripe pineapple. With air, passion fruit and lychee emerge.

Hand-harvested grapes were fermented with care, then aged on the lees in stainless steel barrels for added texture, allowing the fruit to shine without oak.

Grown on 40- to 60-year-old vines in a historic Yountville vineyard, this Semillon is light straw in color with a green hue. Aromas of ripe pear, lime, fresh herbs, and pineapple guava lead into a balanced palate.

Hand-harvested fruit was fermented with care and aged on the lees in stainless steel barrels for texture, preserving the fruit without oak.

This clear, medium-straw Chardonnay shows Golden Delicious apple and ripe pear, alongside toasted almond, browned butter, and hints of toasted oak.

Malolactic fermentation was avoided to retain brightness. A fresh, creamy mouthfeel carries baked apple, toasted nuts, and brown sugar into a clean, soft finish with a touch of warmth.
